About Energy Magazine
Energy is a thought-leading, technology-neutral magazine, developed to help the industry answer some of the critical questions it is currently grappling with:
- What are the energy sources of the future?
- How do we provide energy that is clean, affordable and reliable?
- How do we give customers what they want?
- How do we contend with disruption in the energy sector?
- How do we digitise our networks safely, securely and efficiently?
In every issue of Energy, we consider these questions and respond with thought-leading and thought-provoking content from some of the best and brightest minds the energy industry has to offer.
Our role in the industry
Energy has a strong focus on helping the industry to deal with some of the challenges it is currently facing. We look at the policies and politics affecting the industry; but we always place the emphasis on outcomes rather than political point-scoring. We are committed to helping the industry move forward and solve the energy trilemma – establishing new forms of energy that are reliable, affordable and clean – without over-emphasising the role governments will play in finding the solution.
We believe the future for the energy sector – while it looks considerably different than it has over its first century of existence – has never looked brighter. The opportunities are waiting to be taken advantage of, and Energy will be there, showing you how to best position yourself in energy’s brave new world.
Energy Editor – Holly Tancredi
Energy’s editor is Holly Tancredi, an experienced journalist with a passion for print and online media. She has been close to Energy since becoming its assistant editor in August 2022 and is keen to take Energy to new levels. She has also written for Energy’s sister publications, Utility, Council and Infrastructure.
Energy – published by Monkey Media
Energy is published by Monkey Media, one of Australia’s leading trade publishers in the energy and infrastructure sectors. In addition to Energy, Monkey Media also publishes Utility, Infrastructure and Pump Industry. Monkey Media is also the organiser of highly regarded industry events including Digital Utilities and Asset Management for Critical Infrastructure.
While the way the world communicates has changed rapidly over the last 20 years, the need for tailored, quality industry information has not. At the core of Monkey Media is a team of editors, journalists and designers with in-depth knowledge of the industries we work in, and an ability to put that expertise to work to create high-quality, engaging and thought-provoking content. Monkey Media’s growth over the past few years has bucked the trend of most media companies, and in 2018 we were listed in the Australian Financial Review’s Fast 100.
